He runs his 100th marathon supporting Christel House

Peter Hutchinson’s life changed dramatically when his dying brother challenged him to not put off things he wanted to do. For Peter (pictured above, held aloft by friends) completing a marathon seemed an impossible dream. But with the support of his family, he ran his very first marathon in 2005 to honor his brother’s memory. Peter hasn’t stopped running. In May, Peter ran his 100th marathon! A long-time supporter of Christel House, Peter has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through marathons. “Sometimes the urge to stop running has been almost overwhelming but the children of Christel House have always provided inspiration to keep me going,” admits Peter. “Their achievements and those of their teachers, will always outshine mine. I am honored to have been able to help in my own small way!”
