Christel House South Africa celebrated the end of the academic year with an energetic assembly featuring student music and dancers. “I wanted a chance to get to know Christel House South Africa better,” says Christel House President and CEO Bart Peterson. “I can’t imagine a better way to do that than with all the kids and teachers watching the performance of these talented children." The program recognized student academic and character education achievements. Mr. Peterson presented the Christel Award to Nosiviwe M., Valedictorian of the Class of 2019. “I feel confident that I can be a self-sufficient citizen and give back to the community,” she told the auditorium of students and guests. “That is what Christel House has taught me.”
