Christel House South Africa (CHSA) students live in some of the most disadvantaged communities in Cape Town. In a heart-warming show of holiday generosity, supporters donated funds for hundreds of "Buckets of Hope," filled with food and treats, to make the season brighter for families in need. The school set an aggressive goal of collecting funds to supply 450 Buckets of Hope for CHSA families. “We are simply astounded by the outpouring of generosity for our “Buckets of Hope” drive,” says Francois Louw, CHSA Director of Fundraising & Marketing. “With our supporters’ help, we far exceeded our initial target. In doing so, our donors helped us to give a “Bucket of Hope” to each of our 650 families, including an extra bucket to families with more than one student at our school.”
