    Christel House South Africa Systemic Results Exceed Western Cape Benchmarks

    Students at Christel House South Africa continue to outperform provincial benchmarks across multiple grades, demonstrating the strength and consistency of the school’s education model. The 2025 systemic results show learners achieving significantly higher scores than the Western Cape Education Department averages, despite coming from severely under-resourced communities.

    These results highlight the impact of sustained investment in quality teaching, holistic learner support, and early academic intervention.

    Strong Foundations in the Early Grades

    In Grade 3, Christel House students achieved exceptional results:

    English Language: 91.2% (provincial average: 51.2%)

    Mathematics: 94.7% (provincial average: 62%)

    Exceptional Intermediate Phase Results

    In Grade 6, Christel House learners achieved:

    98.3% pass rate in Mathematics, compared to the provincial average of 41.6%

    87.9% in English Language, compared to the provincial 44.5%

    Continued Performance in the Senior Phase

    In Grade 9, results included:

    Mathematics: 49.2% (provincial average: 24.9%)

    English Language: 84.7% (provincial average: 43.6%)

    Continuous Improvement in Mathematics

    While the school maintains a strong lead over provincial benchmarks, Christel House recognises that there is always room to improve.

    Strengthening Grade 9 Mathematics performance remains a key focus area. Targeted academic support initiatives are already being implemented to help learners build confidence, deepen conceptual understanding, and achieve even stronger results.
