If you’re able to give, you can donate in a way that works for you. Monthly giving is one of the most powerful ways to support our programmes and services. South African donors can sign up for a monthly debit order from as little as R200 per month or make a once-off or recurring donation through our secure online payment portal.

You can fundraise or donate goods. Our school has both small and large needs – from toys, books, and stationery to sports equipment and classroom resources. You can view our 2026 Wish List or use your social, community, or workplace network to help spread the word and mobilise support.

Christel DeHaan (1942–2020), founder of Christel House South Africa, believed deeply in the power of education to change lives. When she established Christel House International in 1998, she set in motion a revolutionary school model designed to help children escape poverty — not only through education, but through long-term care, stability, and opportunity. Twenty-eight years on, her legacy lives on across the globe. More than 21,000 students have been impacted, and 97% of Christel House alumni are in education, training, or employment – powerful evidence of what sustained, holistic investment in a child’s life can achieve.
