One of Christel House SA’s longest-standing partners, Growthpoint Properties, hosted a special Virtual Career Day workshop on 5 August for Grade 11 students from Christel House and the Midlands Community College in KwaZulu-Natal. Through a panel of experienced professionals, the workshop introduced our students to various professions in the property sector, including Property Valuation, Facilities Management, Sustainability, Portfolio & Asset Management, and Corporate Finance.
The purpose of the Virtual Career Workshop was to show students exciting career fields that they can pursue. Students had the option of attending different sessions throughout the program. The programme started from 14h00 and ran for two hours. One of our Grade 11 students, Cleo S. says, "As a young person seeing these young speakers in such exciting careers, really inspired me to follow my own dreams."
