Get involved and help change the life of a student at Christel House.
1. FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Make a monetary gift to Christel House and help pay for anything from shoes and socks, to a nutritious meal or the next health check-up of a child. All our administrative and fundraising costs are covered by Christel House International, ensuring that a 100% of your donation goes directly to our programs and services that serve our students. We accept local, international, once-off and monthly donations. To donate, visit: https://sa.christelhouse.org/donate
PAY LESS TAX. Did you know that you can reduce your tax burden by donating to a charity?
As an individual or a business, you can qualify to receive a tax-deduction when donating to Christel House - a registered non-profit organisation (NPO number:017-044). South African donors are eligible to receive an 18A tax certificate, and South African businesses can also receive B-BBEE points for their donations as a 100% off our beneficiaries are Black (as per the Codes of Good Practice).
Christel House is also a registered charity in the United States, India, Mexico and the United Kingdom, so please email us to assist you with making an international donation to Christel House South Africa.
Help feed our children, coach sport or read in the library. Your time and skills help develop our students and grow new talents. Email us for more information about our volunteer programme.
3. INTERNSHIPS & JOB PLACEMENTS
Your expertise can help our graduates become contributing members of society. Chat to our College & Careers team to get involved.
4. FELLOWSHIPS & SCHOLARSHIPS
Change a life by sponsoring the costs of one student's schooling. Become a Christel House Fellow by supporting the student from grade R to grade 12. Read more about our Christel House Fellowship Programme here.
5. IN-KIND DONATIONS
Sponsor our students' books, stationery, uniforms or sporting equipment. We have an annual wish list of items we need. View our 2020 wish list here.
