We are proud to announce a 100% matric pass rate for our Class of 2023. Since our inaugural matriculation year in 2009, we have maintained an impressive 99% matric pass rate average. Our school has also achieved a Bachelor pass rate of 82%, opening doors for many of our students to pursue higher education.
Christel House SA's outcomes stand among the best compared to schools in our local Metro South district. We are one of nine schools in the district to achieve a 100% matric pass rate and the only one serving children from impoverished communities.
Amidst the success stories, the top student and class of 2023 Valedictorian, Zia-Ud-Din G., who achieved six academic distinctions and resides in Hanover Park, has been accepted to study medicine at Stellenbosch University. He draws inspiration from his family members, including his brother, Mujaahid G., an esteemed alumnus of Christel House SA who has successfully attained the status of a qualified Dentist. Khanya N. from Langa and Rose Q. from Delft are in second and third place with four academic distinctions. Rose's sister, Asive Q. is also a Christel House SA alumna, currently working as a Senior Business and Integration Analyst.
With a vision to broaden our reach, Christel House SA hopes to widen our impact across the country over the next five years, extending our transformative model to empower even more young minds. The expansion project will require collaboration and support from multiple stakeholders.
